On Sunday May 6, 2018, approximately 300 children with special needs along with over 600 of their family members attended the 8th Annual Friars Golden Kids Carnival at Saint Anthony’s High School. Over 325 current Saint Anthony’s students served as buddies and activity leaders for these children. Faculty and staff members, as well as the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Guilds, helped to organize and run the event, which took place in and around the Student Center. The children enjoyed jumping in the bounce house, going down the inflatable slide, and running through the obstacle course. They also loved dancing to the music, playing a variety of sports, blowing bubbles, joining in carnival games, coloring, and having their faces painted. This year’s Carnival included new therapy dogs & two mini horses. Lunch was also served to all in our Cafeteria.
