Last Wednesday, St. Anthony’s High School hosted the first of six summer sessions of Challenger Sports Camp. Since 2014, St. Anthony’s has partnered with Mr. Ray Samson and his organization Challenger Athletics Inc. to welcome young athletes from the special needs community to come celebrate sports with our Friars.
This past Wednesday, over 100 members of the Friar Faithful buddied up with 73 special needs athletes and played soccer, baseball, football, lacrosse, basketball, and volleyball. The Challenger Summer Camp program is scheduled for the next 5 Wednesday afternoons from 3:00pm-4:30pm in the St. Anthony’s Student Center.
