The St. Anthony’s Boys Varsity Hockey team celebrated the ten Seniors on the team (and their parents) before their game against Fordham Prep on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
After a difficult first period, the Friars managed to overcome the 0-3 deficit that Fordham Prep put them in to overcome them by the third period, leading them 6-5. As a last ditch effort, Fordham pulled their goalie at a shot at tying the game… but were met with an empty net goal, securing the Friars win with a final score of 7-5.
The Friars next play at home at Dix Hills Ice Rink on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 as they take on Iona Prep.
